Biography

Andy Greenwald is the author of Miss Misery: A Novel (Simon & Schuster, 2006) and Nothing Feels Good: Punk Rock, Teenagers, and Emo (St.Martin's Press, 2003), a cult-hit exploration of music and youth culture currently in its tenth printing. In 2009, he scripted two episodes of Rockville, CA for Josh Schwartz's College Hill Productions and Warner Brothers Television. An experienced pop culture journalist, Greenwald's writing appears frequently in Entertainment Weekly, Spin, ESPN: The Magazine, the Village Voice, The Washington Post and New York Magazine's "Vulture" blog. He has also made appearances on CNN, MSNBC, MTV, VH-1 and the BBC. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.
