A lifelong career in the film business spanning stints in retail and distribution, Jason brings an extensive and unique knowledge of the entire industry chain - from production straight through to consumers.
During the 2014 Toronto Film Festival Jason was awarded with the distinction as one of the top 15 executives under 35 in the Canadian film industry as voted by The Hollywood Reporter, and is consistently interviewed by many of the top industry trade magazines about current industry trends and new opportunities for growth. Based in Toronto, Jason oversees the operations of DDI a globally recognized sales company.
In addition to selling, Jason has served as an executive producer on the break-out comedy sequel Super Troopers 2, auteur director Terence Davies' film A Quiet Passion starring Cynthia Nixon and Jennifer Ehle, Girl starring Bella Thorne and Mickey Rourke, and the family film Think Like A Dog starring Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox. Jason has recently produced the upcoming film The Doorman directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, starring Ruby Rose and Jean Reno, which Lionsgate distributed domestically. Jason has recently co-founded Cr8iv DNA, which is focused on developing and producing highly commercial, elevated content with the ability to easily transition into sequels, prequels, series and other media applications.
