JT, born Gilbert Juarez, III, grew up in the small town of Corpus Christi, Texas. He went on to study at the University of Texas at Austin's Radio, Television, and Film program. In 2011 JT moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in filmmaking. Since then he has work on various television series, and feature films. JT works as a freelance editor and VFX compositor in Los Angeles. Credits include the Academy Awards nominated film, "Anomalisa", HBO's "Animals.", Netflix's "Disenchantment", Nickelodeon's "Spongebob Squarepants", and many more.
