Los Angeles based documentary editor born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Fernanda is known for Girl in Picture (2022) and Queen of Brazil (2008) - her directorial debut which was nominated for best documentary at the Zurich International Film Festival and awarded best feature at the NY Brazilian Film Festival.
She co-produced the feature film Diamantino, which won the Cannes Critics Week Award.
Fernanda began her career in Brazil where she established herself as a television and documentary editor. She studied film and creative writing at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. In 2017, she moved to California where she now works as an editor in documentary films and series.
