Originally from Montclair, NJ, Imanuel Smith is an International Cinematographer's Guild member local in both New York and Atlanta. Formerly of the United States Navy's Naval Nuclear Power School, Imanuel has an affinity for all operations technical and logistical. For almost 20 years he has built a career in film and television as an Assistant Director, Producer and Camera Geek. Imanuel is proficient in Arri, Panivision, RED, Phantom Flex, Sony and Canon workflows, specifications, accessories and partnering software.
Patience and the eagerness to collaborate drives his career. No second is taken for granted and every moment is enjoyed while giving meticulous execution.
