Amy Frear is an actor and filmmaker from Philadelphia. She holds her MFA in Acting from the University of Washington in Seattle.
She can be seen in the role of Lisa in Stephen Gyllenhaal's feature film "Grassroots" starring Jason Biggs and Lauren Ambrose, which premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival. In 2014, she made her directorial debut with "Another Time," a short film about commitment and being lost in time. Since then, she has directed multiple film projects, including the upcoming "A Stupid Man," starring Shannon DeVido. She also directs music videos and creates video art. Her work has been screened at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Queens World Film Festival, GenreBlast, and other festivals around the US and UK.
