Alan Deprez has studied Cinematography at INRACI (2004-2007), a famous Belgian film school based in Brussels. After getting his degree, he's worked on several projects (video clips, short films, TV films...) as 1st and 2nd assistant director, camera operator, electrician, best boy...
Alan has directed a long feature documentary ("Princesse Mimi", shot in 2008 and still unreleased due to music rights issues), some video clips (like "Bitch Face" for the Portuguese rock band Velvet Kills and "Je Ne Sais Quoi" for the Swiss artist Genevan Heathen) and a couple of short films: "Ab Aeterno" (2010), "Erotomania" (2012) and "Cruelle est la nuit" ("Cruel is the night", 2017).
He's also a journalist and film critic, contributing to some well-known specialized and cultural magazines like Mad Movies, Lui, Hot Vidéo and Vivre Paris (he's still writing papers for some of these).
