Colin Smikle died during the final few weeks of filming Bob Marley One Love. He was a premier location Manager much loved and respected in the Jamaican film industry and he saw it as his mission to uplift the communities in which filming took place. His death was a serious blow to the crew. Paramount films recognizing the Impact he had, are donating a computer lab and hall to the Trench Town Primary School in his honor. This is to be dedicated when the film is launched at the end of January.
