Josh's 1st job was a radio commercial for the Big E fair in 1985. He grew up in the theater program at Danvers High School in Danvers Massachusetts, where he participated in the Boston Globe state drama festival where he and his school were very successful and award winning. He won the Emerson College Stage scholarship and attend there for a year and then moved on to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. 97' and company '98. Fatherhood took Josh away from acting a couple of times in his life where he found himself working on behalf of national security in business development for a, homeland security technology, defense contractor for the United States government. He returned to New York to work as an actor, doing featured background and auditioning until he was signed by Cinematic Management. He became a talent manager and scout there as well as an audition and acting coach. He also worked as a casting associate for a major motion picture and casting associate for Wallabout which went to Cannes film festival and won several awards and is available on Amazon Prime. Josh also appears as Roland in the independent feature. After a 7-8 hiatus from the industry he returned to acting. In 2023 he had the honor and privilege to work with legendary actress and Oscar winner Estelle Parsons on the new Play American Rot, that debuted in New York with new cast in March of 2024. He is also a proud student of her daughter, Martha Gehman, assistant director of the actors studio in New York.
