New York based script supervisor, Narielys Márquez Carrasquillo, has been honing her skills since 2009. Narielys studied at La Universidad de Puerto Rico where she double-majored in Foreign Languages, and English Literature. She then went on to obtain a Master's degree in English at UPR-RP specializing in Cultural Literary Studies; her main areas of focus were Caribbean, and African-American cultures. Narielys moved to the Philippines shortly after to pursue film studies at the International Academy of Film and Television in Cebu. She returned to Puerto Rico in 2008 and worked on various local film productions until 2010 when she began dividing her time between Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, and New York City. Narielys is completely fluent in American English, and Boricua Spanish.
