James Hare is a Spotlight registered Voice Actor and Actor from the UK. His work ethic is professional and friendly and has a versatile and creative approach to acting with over 10 years experience in the voiceover and entertainment industry. His natural voice has been described as engaging, trustworthy and articulate and can go from a mid to high range in a number of accents and characterisations
Based in his home studio in the UK he began his voice acting journey learning from industry experts Nina Zendejas (Voice Coach) and Tom Clarke-Hill (Voices in Animation) and appeared in his very first lead role in animation 'Stupid Question' as Ben. As well as attending classes by renowned casting directors such as Sirena Irwin, Pamela Goldman and Steve Blum he has most recently had private coaching from casting director and animation voice over coach Sara Jane Sherman and is an alumni of Voice Masters Animation and Video Game class of Spring 2024 with Paulette Lifton and Mimi Maynard.
James has had an ambition since childhood to voice characters in animation and video games and enjoys working across multiple genres for Film, TV, Podcasts and Web Series. His dream project would be to work on an animated series or film for Disney, Prime or Netflix. His most recent voice acting roles he plays Walter/Barnaby in 'A Life Worth Living' (2024) audio drama on Spotify. The Guardian in video game Twilight Oracle (2023) available on Steam. The lead 'Bernard' in upcoming animated feature film Fat Chance (2024) and 'Henry Stein' in the recently released Dream's Come to Life (2022) animated film on YouTube.
James can also be heard in award nominated animated web series Transportation Station (2021) as Bernard, this series is now heading into a second season and James will be reprising his role as Bernard. His latest film role in 'I Was A Soldier' (2024) is now streaming globally on Tubi, Prime and YouTube.
