Chris Letcher is a film composer, songwriter and academic. He has a doctorate from the Royal College of Music, London, and has written about film music in Music, Sound, and the Moving Image, Journal of Film Music and Ethnomusicology Forum, and has contributed a chapter to the Routledge Companion to Screen Music and Sound. He is a lecturer in music for screen at the University of Edinburgh.
