Tyson Pestner is an American actor and filmmaker from the North Western parts of Oregon. He graduated with a degree in Theater Arts from Cal State Long Beach where he spent most of his time acting in front of cameras for the students of the film department. He continued his education by attending The Second City in Hollywood and going through their core improv program where he further honed his comedic skills and ability to think on his feet. More recently he has attended the Lesly Kahn and Co. acting studio.
A lot of Tyson's experience comes from picking up a camera and diving head first into how the film making process works. He spent a year acting in and single handedly working the technical aspects of the videos for a two man comedy sketch team, "Shorts On Shorts". He continued to use his filmmaking skills to star in and co-direct/write the short film "No Good Burglar", which was accepted into the Mammoth Film Festival, Hollywood Comedy Shorts Festival as well as being picked up by the cable channel, ShortsTv.
His favorite on set experience was when he was cast in the feature film "Space Waves", as the titular character Duke, where he spent two weeks working on location in Grass Valley, Ca.
Tyson is currently based out of Los Angeles.
