Bradley's journey in film began as a young child making home movies with family and friends on an old VHS camcorder. As an adolescent he was an avid skateboarder and took joy in filming his friends' tricks and shenanigans. He quickly grasped how to find artistic angles and move the camera for cinematic effect. Eventually skateboarding began to fade, and the responsibility of further education and a career became a reality. This led Bradley to McHenry County College where he took his first photography class. He instantly fell in love with the dark room and the ability to bring photos to life under the instruction of long-time photo teacher, Arthur James Hand.
Bradley's love of photography led him to Columbia College Chicago where, in 2010, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Cinema Arts & Sciences. During his time at Columbia, he rapidly developed a deeper affinity for light, a keen eye for framing and composition, and a much deeper understanding of the photographic process. Brad spent the next handful of years grinding it out in the Indie world, cutting his teeth in managerial roles on any project that would have him. In addition to various Indie films, he also spent time working in the political arena traveling the country as a lighting lead under the direction of the White House Communications Agency.
In August of 2016, Bradley joined IATSE Local 476 in Chicago. Since joining the union, he has worked on numerous films, TV shows, and commercials filmed in the Chicagoland area and beyond-- never ceasing to lend a helping hand to a production in need. Bradley has a highly motivated work ethic that couples well with his desire to engineer creative solutions to your creative problems.
