We recently had the chance to speak with Gabrielle Nevaeh about her starring role in Season 2 of Curses on AppleTV+. The animated series showcases a stellar cast of voice talents, including Andre Robinson, Lyric Lewis, Reid Scott, Rhys Darby, James Marsters, Rhea Perlman, Phylicia Rashad, and the legendary Robert Englund.
Curses! follows the story of Pandora (voiced by Nevaeh), Russ, and Sky Vanderhouven, a family burdened by a curse brought on by their ancestors’ reckless looting of ancient artefacts from around the world. In Season 1, the family embarked on an adventure to reverse the curse that had turned Alex, the father, to stone. As Season 2 begins, Alex is back with his family, but something about him seems off. As the Vanderhouven family works to repair the damage caused by their ancestors’ greed, they find themselves facing new challenges—both on the road and within the eerie walls of Briarstone Manor.

Exclusive: Maverick TV USA, the All3Media production company behind series including Netflix’s Barbeque Showdown and USA Network reality series Chrisley Knows Best, is the latest unscripted business to fall victim to market conditions.
All3Media is closing the U.S. business, which has been run for the last few years by Simon Knight.
Jeff Zucker’s RedBird Imi recently closed on its $1.45B takeover of the British production group, which has around 50 production labels including Squid Game: The Challenge producer Studio Lambert, Tinder Swindler producer Raw TV, Fleabag producer Two Brothers Pictures, Penny Dreadful producer Neal Street and natural history maker Silverback Films.
However, the Maverick news is unrelated to this takeover.
The move highlights the difficult circumstances for unscripted producers in the U.S. Cable networks are no longer ordering the same volume of nonscripted projects that they used to and it’s difficult to get a series greenlit at the broadcast networks.

The Groundlings will host an improv musical fundraising event on Oct. 26, featuring Ana Gasteyer, Kristen Bell, Kristen Wiig and Will Forte. The event, held at the Performing Arts Center at Vista Del Mar, will benefit the Motion Picture & Television Fund to support below-the-line workers impacted by the strikes.
“One Night Only,” created and directed by Groundlings Main Company member Andrew Leeds, is a full production of a well-known Broadway musical. The catch? The improvisers are given the script and their roles only 24 hours in advance.
“These strikes have taken a terrible toll on our amazing crews, and it isn’t over yet. Even with the WGA strike ending, most crew members won’t be able to start work again until the SAG-AFTRA deal is ratified,” Leeds said in a statement. “Even then, many will be fighting to survive as they wait for productions to start back up.

If you’ve been hearing people talk about this show for a decade and want to catch up, the 20 beloved episodes are on the Starz app, as well as Hulu. (The first season is on Prime Video.)

In addition to he and Lynch, other original cast members returning include Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen and Megan Mullally. The Party Down gang is back for seconds in the first full trailer teasing the Starz comedy’s long-awaited return.

If you have an event coming up that requires a top-notch catering service, you should call someone other than Party Down. While the gang at Party Down knows how to make a celebration enjoyable, they’re likely to cause chaos behind the scenes, resulting in shenanigans that could be hard to explain to your guests. Starz is ready to start the party today with a new Party Down revival trailer. The party begins on Friday, February 24, on the Starz app and other streaming platforms. The revival also leads a conga line to Starz for a linear debut on Friday, February 24, at 9 Pm Et/Pt.
The Party Down revival trailer is getting us pumped for six all-new episodes that take place ten years after the original series. Several Party Down catering crew members have moved on since the original series, but a mutual event unites them, and the band gets back together.

In the age of revival television, it is still genuinely hard to believe that Starz is bringing the cult comedy favorite "Party Down" back for a long (long!) awaited third season, but it is indeed happening. As evidence of that, we have a brand new trailer for the new batch of episodes, which will be arriving via the premium cable channel next month. And yes, most of the original cast is back! Sadly, Lizzy Caplan isn't here as Casey Klein for another round of "will they, won't they" with Adam Scott's Henry Pollard. Be that as it may, it very much looks like the show folks like myself fell in love with. And in the third season...

It’s about to turn up because “Party Down” is back!
The beloved Starz original comedy series has officially returned 14 years since the show debuted in 2009. Original stars Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Ryan Hansen, and Martin Starr, plus Season 2 addition Megan Mullally, are reprising their respective roles for the revival series. Lizzy Caplan is the only original actor not returning for the reboot. Check out the trailer below.
The cater-waiter comedy centers on aspiring actor Henry (Scott), whose apathetic bartending skills sustain his dreams of being a Hollywood star. We’re mere weeks away from the long overdue return of Starz’s cult hit series “Party Down,” and as the first trailer will prove, we’re delighted to report the gang are all still living that cautionary don’t-move-to-la life, even into their 40s and 50s. I mean, we’re delighted for you, the fans. We feel kind of bad for the characters.
You can see for yourself at the top of the page. It’s been 10 years and ostensibly they’ve all moved on. But after a surprise reunion, the gang find themselves once again stoically enduring the procession of random parties and oddball guests all over Los Angeles.
But time has not exactly been kind. It’s not just that actor/bartender Henry Pollard (Adam Scott) is grappling with the reality that he’s well into his 40s and still doing that for a living. It’s...

Wendie Malick, Melissa Villaseñor, comedian Pete Holmes and skaters Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski are among the lengthy list of guest stars who will appear on Season 1 of “Night Court.”
“Night Court” is back in session for a reboot of the comedy series that first aired in 1984 for nine seasons. In this new take on the series, John Larroquette reprises his role as narcissistic prosecutor Dan Fielding, with Melissa Rauch (“The Big Bang Theory”) playing optimistic judge Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Judge Harry Stone (Harry Anderson).
“We’re obviously huge fans of the original, and it’s an incredible privilege to get to work in this world and tell stories with these characters,” the series’ executive producer, Dan Rubin, said. “But it’s also a challenge to keep this show its own thing and have it stand on its own two feet.”

Those guest stars are Melissa Villaseñor (Saturday Night Live), Wendie Malick (Hot in Cleveland), Pete Holmes (How We Roll), Faith Ford (Hope & Faith), Kurt Fuller (Supernatural), Stephnie Weir (MADtv), Lyric Lewis (A.P. Bio), and figure skaters, Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski, according to Variety. So far, only John Larroquette is returning from the original series — he’s coming back to play Dan Fielding again — though producers told reporters at the TCA press tour that they’re open to bringing back Richard Moll and Marsha Warfield to play Nostradamus “Bull” Shannon and Rosalind “Roz” Russell. NBC’s upcoming “Night Court” revival has set a new slate of guest stars including Melissa Villaseñor, Faith Ford, Pete Holmes, Kurt Fuller, Stephanie Weir, Lyric Lewis, Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski.
The news came during NBCUniversal’s presentation at the Television Critics Association’s winter 2023 press tour, where star and executive producer Melissa Rauch called “Night Court” a “newboot” of the original, which ran on NBC from 1984 to 1992 and starred Harry Anderson as judge Harry T. Stone.
Along with announcing the new guest stars, with character details yet to be announced, producers said during the “Night Court” panel that they would be open to bringing back Richard Moll and Marsha Warfield. Moll and Warfield are the only living cast members from the original series besides John Laroquette, who reprises his role in the revival.
The new “Night Court” follows the late Harry Stone’s daughter, the unapologetically optimistic judge Abby Stone.

Collaboration in comedy can be hard. The genre is largely subjective and funny people have differing perspectives on what is and isn’t funny. But what about when one comedic collaborator is an apple that hasn’t fallen too far from the other’s comedy tree, so to speak?
Such is the case with the new Audible podcast series Summer in Argyle. First developed and written by Nate Odenkirk, then punched up, rewritten, and produced with the assistance of his quite notable father, Bob Odenkirk, Summer in Argyle is a generational Odenkirk-ian effort. The father-son duo worked on the project during the height of the pandemic, turning the already fraught creative process into more intense of a beast.
“You know, it’s risky. You’re locked down. You’re in the house. You can’t leave. Plus, he’s my son,” Bob Odenkirk tells Den of Geek. “But I had...

“When Richie dies at the hot dog eating contest, it shocks the town,” Bob — who narrates the show — says in the trailer.

Fittingly for a show about high school, A.P. Bio’s writers are often tasked with the least enjoyable aspect of education: homework.
“One of the ways we try to find new areas in stories is just by writing assignments and homework,” A.P. Bio showrunner Mike O’Brien tells Den of Geek. “We’ll all go home and write. I often call them sketches or scenes – just some little thing.”
O’Brien’s homework assignments have apparently paid off as they’ve allowed the comedy to reach four seasons, the first two of which aired on NBC and the following two on streaming service Peacock.
A.P. Bio is set in the fictional Whitlock High School in Toledo, Ohio and follows disgraced Harvard philosophy professor Jack Griffin (Glenn Howerton) as he returns home to teach some eager nerds A.P. Biology. Unfortunately for the nerds, Jack has no intention of teaching them A.
