Alla Baianova was born on 18 May 1914 in Chisinau, Moldova. She was an actress, known for Zakhochu - polyublyu (1991) and Falansterul (1982). She died on 30 August 2011 in Moscow, Russia.
In 1984, she wrote and performed the Romanian lyrics of the French song "C'est si bon" which was written in 1947 by André Hornez (lyrics) and Henri Betti (music). The title song became "Ce Frumos".
