Phi Huynh is Canadian actor who debuted on Nickelodeon's - The Next Step: We are the World (2015) as a principal actor along side the cast. He later then scored a notable role in 2 episodes of CBS's Heroes Reborn (2015) in the same year. Since then he has acted in notable shows such as: V-WARS (netflix), Salvation (Syfy/Netflix), Taken(CBS), Mayday Air Crash Investigations before winning an award for his recent role in OVERcover (2019) as the Best Action Short Film courtesy of the (Urban Action Showcase International Film Festival) in New York City. This award was granted in 2020.
Huynh was born on July 16, 1989 in Etobicoke, Ontario Canada. He is a decorated martial arts champion in 2006 winning a provincial championship in Karate Sparring against Team Canada in the World Fraternity of Martial Artists (WFMA). He studied traditional Shorin-Ryu Karate in his teenage years before he transitioned over to becoming a gymnast, acrobat, break-dancer and live stage performer.
Phi is of Vietnamese descent specifically from Southern Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon. He speaks English, Vietnamese and some Japanese.
