The film, marking the feature directorial debut of Peruvian-American filmmaker Gustavo Martin, will also star Vishy Ayyar and Andrew Gray.

Pic’s protagonist is Jai (Ayyar), an ex-con on a soulful path wrestling with personal redemption when outside circumstances pit him in the ring against the fierce opponent, Marcus (Gray). Deadline broke the news Wednesday, revealing that Bling Empire would not return for a fourth season.

Additionally, the New York-set spinoff has been canceled after a single season.

Stars included Christine Chiu, Kane Lim, Kelly Mi Li, Kevin Kreider, Gabriel Chu, Anna Shay, Cherie Chan, Jessey Lee, Kim Lee, Andrew Gray, Jamie Xie, and Guy Tang for the original series.

The spinoff Bling Empire: New York starred Dorothy Wang, who was in season two of the original show, as well as Tina Leung, Deborah Hung, and Stephen Hung.

No reason has been given for the cancellations, and there's no telling whether Netflix will revisit the franchise down the line.

"Bling Empire" season three isn't short on fun cameos, from Mila Kunis to Lewis Tan to Chrishell Stause. But one person viewers weren't expecting to see? Kelly Mi Li's ex-boyfriend Andrew Gray.

In episode one of season three, Gray takes everyone by surprise when he shows up to Guy Tang and Almar Guevarra's sixth anniversary party after Anna Shay suggests it's a good idea. Unfortunately, it ends up being the complete opposite. "In a million years, none of us thought he would show up and that especially Anna would bring him . . . When I first learned Netflix was working on a reality TV show that follows a group of wealthy Asian and American friends around Los Angeles, à la Crazy Rich Asians, I was intrigued. Listen, I love reality TV. I am an avid Real Housewives watcher and always will be, but Bling Empire just wasn't it for me. A "Power Rangers" reunion? Don't hold your breath.

Earlier this week, David Yost -- a.k.a. the Blue Ranger -- refused an offer to appear on an episode of "Power Rangers Megaforce," claiming he was treated poorly by the producers of the show.

The openly gay actor, who appeared on the show from 1993-1996, said he experienced homophobic abuse while on "Power Rangers" and is "done with abusive relationships," according to TMZ.
