Adil Ibrahim

Adil Ibrahim is an Indian actor. He was born and aised in Dubai, UAE. Adil pursued his academic career from New Indian Model School and Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Dubai Campus.

He began his career in the Malayalam entertainment industry as a radio jockey, Television host and model. Adil, is the son of Ibrahim, who is a Business and HR Consultant in UAE (Retired), and Sabirah Ibrahim who instilled in him a strong reverence for his Malayalee roots and Kerala, India.

He is a chemical engineer by profession, but quit his well-paying job, when a chance audition on the suggestion of his friend, landed him a role in 2014 film, Venalodungathe (Endless Summer). He was cast along with popular actors like Seema Biswas and Salim Kumar.

There was no going back from the moment he faced the camera for the first time. The magical process of moviemaking seemed more alluring than the lab. This was followed by successful TV hosting gigs for shows D for Dance and Still Standing, which were aired on Mazhavil Manorama channel (owned by Malayala Manorama group).

Adil's popularity soared, and he was offered memorable characters in films such as Nirnaayakam, Lucifer, Achayans, Paalum Pazhavum. In a career spanning a decade, his growth as a performer is apparent in some of his recent works.

These include commercial for Mathrubhumi Newspaper for their 100 years celebration, 2023's short film Ennennekkum and in 2024's hit Disney Hotstar's original Malayalam web series-1000 Babies, directed by Najeem Koya. Both the show and his portrayal of police officer Mohammad Ansari are winning rave reviews.

He has also featured in various short films, including Dirty Diana, Hand Of God, Hridayam, etc.
