Jessica Juarez is an American-born actress from Whittier, California. A first generation American with Hispanic roots, Juarez joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute studying under Lee Strasberg protege's Hedy Sontage and Marc Marno.
Legendary casting director Jane Jenkins discovered Juarez in an actor's showcase and helped her find representation. In two short years, Juarez has established herself as a name in television: first landing a recurring role in Alfonso Gomez-Rejon's Paramount pilot "Citizen", followed by a star role in the Netflix original series "American Vandal" and then testing for a lead in Michael Patrick King's E! Pilot "Juicy Story". King created a role in the pilot to establish a character for her should the show be picked up to series.
On the film front, Juarez can be seen in writer/director Daniel Sawka's debut feature film "Icebox", produced by James Brooks' Gracie Films premiering at the Toronto Film Festival 2018. She also has a cameo in Nabil Elderkin's first independent film "Gully" (2021) starring Amber Heard and Terrence Howard.
