Tom Canton is a British and Irish actor most known for his role as 'Filavandrel' - the King of the Elves, in Seasons 1, 2 and 3 of the 3 time Emmy Awards nominated and BAFTA winning series THE WITCHER for Netflix, starring alongside Henry Cavill. Canton made his television debut on BBC's DEATH COMES TO PEMBERLEY and ITV's THE GOOD KARMA HOSPITAL. His big screen debut was FARMING, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and won Best Film at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
Canton trained at the highly regarded Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He began his career on the stage, starring as the title role in Oscar Wilde's THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY at the National Theatre of Ireland, THE ABBEY. Following this he starred as Heathcliff in WUTHERING HEIGHTS at the highly prestigious The Gate Theatre. He then went on to star in Shakespeare's RICHARD III, as the nemesis to Ralph Fiennes.
