In the previous episodes, Oshi No Ko Season 2 has been dealing with how the author of Tokyo Blade was not satisfied with the script of the stage play adaptation. This discontent put the rehearsals for the stage play on hold.
While that was the main issue in focus, we also get to see crumbs of Ruby, and also the date between Aqua and Akane.
However, the important turnaround was when Aqua, realizing why Abiko might be having an issue with the screenplay, comes up with a plan to help convince her otherwise. The date certainly played a role in this.
Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 4 will look to resolve the issues between the screenwriter Goa and mangaka Abiko, who is shown to be going through a lot of stress thanks to the hectic serialization schedule of her manga! The cast might finally overcome the obstacle and continue with the stage play adaptation after all.

This summer’s anime shows are off to a weird start with “My Deer Friend Nokotan.” Right away, the bizarro comedy about a girl with deer antlers captured fans’ attention. The story follows Torako, an ex-troublemaker trying to be a good student now. But her normal life does a total 360 when she meets Nokotan. That’s what everyone calls the girl with deer antlers! In the first episode, “Girl Meets Deer,” the silly scenario had me laughing. At the same time, I was intrigued by Torako and Nokotan’s odd friendship unfolding.

Last year was a standout year for animation, and 2024 is already shaping up to be another banger. While a majority of the high-profile animation releases are due out later this summer, the first quarter of 2024 has already been promising. We at /Film are constantly singing the praises of animation as a medium, and doing our best to course-correct the ignorant idea that animation is only for children. Admittedly, this list is going to look mighty small for the time being, but it will be updated throughout the year as more films become available. As we noted last year, animation is one of the only mediums where global cinema is given an equal footing to studio-produced films in America, with the artistic visuals serving as a universal language that we can all enjoy. Meaning, this list is not limited to Hollywood animation releases ... and that's a good thing. As for now,...

We’ve got a brand new trailer to share with you for Netflix’s upcoming Ultraman anime series! The series is an adaptation of the manga by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shiguchi, which serves as a sequel to the original 1966 Ultraman series. I love that this is going to be a continuation of the original story, and it looks like it’s going to be great! I also dig the the animation style and design work.
Here’s the synopsis that was released for the series:
“Several years have passed since the events of Ultraman, with the legendary “Giant of Light” now a memory, as it is believed he returned home after fighting the many giant aliens that invaded the Earth. Shin Hayata’s son Shinjiro seems to possess a strange ability, and it is this ability, along with his father’s revelation that he was Ultraman, that leads Shinjiro...

Away from Hollywood’s stifling commercial limits, Fumiyo Kouno’s manga about a young bride in wartime Japan has no illusions regarding the human price of war. Young Suzu takes in a new family, endures the hardships of a militarized country and wartime privations, but nobody is ready for what’s coming. Sunao Katabuchi’s historical drama makes stunning use of animation.
