Diana Nguyen is a trained actor, graduated from Monash University BA, major in drama and theatre studies. She also studied with John Bolton (VCA) Theatre school full time in 2016.
Diana is the co-creator, co-lead actor and executive producer of Phi and Me TV. Originally a Melbourne International Comedy festival show, in 2014, the concept to produce a webseries came to fruition with a crowdfund raising $27k. In May 2019, Screen Australia funded $52k to complete post production, and June 16th www.phiandme.tv world premiered!
Diana screen work consists of Underbelly, Jack Irish, Please Like Me, and recently in 2019 - Fat Pizza (Channel 7) and 5 Bedrooms (Channel 10). She has been guests on LIVE tv shows including Q&A (ABC), Friday Front Bar (Channel 7), Fox Footy (Foxtel) and recently The Project (Channel 10) promoting Phi and Me.
She has also performed on feature films including Bollywood film with Shah Ruh Khan and Sagarika Ghagte in "Chak De India and waiting for release "The WhistleBlower."
She as performed standup since 2016, and toured all over Australia, Edinburgh Fringe and USA.
Diana will continue to write for screen, and is working with Storybox productions on a documentary. She was part of the Grand Jury for Melbourne WebFest in 2019.
