Inga Eiss

Inga Eiss is an American film and television actress, singer and musician born and raised in South Africa. She is fluent in Afrikaans (a Dutch dialect) and has landed roles speaking English with a Dutch accent, her native South African accent, and the standard American accent she acquired after migrating to the United States.
Inga was born on October 5th, 1990. Her father was a farmer and professional polo player, her mother a pharmacist. Young Inga's first love was ballet for which she received numerous distinctions from the Royal Academy of Dance. She was a voracious reader and chess player and enjoyed painting and drawing. In her early teens, Eiss emigrated to Ocala, a small central Florida town known as "The Horse Capital of the World", with her parents and two sisters.
Eiss started acting when she was sixteen after being accepted to Ocala's performing arts magnet school, West Port High. She furthered her training at the University of Central Florida where she was one of six women accepted her cohort year to the Bachelor of Fine Arts acting program. Eiss was cast in several theatrical productions then decided to pursue on-camera acting.
Upon completion of her conservatory training, Eiss relocated to Atlanta, GA where she made her network debut in the CBS remake of MacGyver. Shortly thereafter, Eiss was cast in a supporting lead role opposite Toni Garn in Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer. Eiss spoke in her native South African accent for the Lifetime original set in her home country. Eiss was next seen in DC Comic's Doom Patrol followed by a brief appearance in Walt Disney's live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp, which launched the Disney+ streaming service. On August 8, 2021, Eiss made her theatrical debut when she appeared alongside Jennifer Hudson as Aretha Franklin's interpreter in MGM's biographic musical drama, Respect.
Eiss has received numerous awards including Best Acting/Female Winner for the 48 Hour Film Project Orlando and is a four-time winner of Ocala Civic Theatre's Bright Young Artist college scholarship.
Off-camera she is known for her adventurous spirit, humorous wit, and familial devotion.
