Alberto Undiano Mallenco

Alberto Undiano Mallenco is a retired Spanish professional football referee known for his time spent officiating matches in the Spanish LaLiga from 2000 until his retirement in 2019. In addition to refereeing, Undiano is also a part-time sociologist. In addition to LaLiga, he was a full international referee for FIFA from 2004 to 2019. Undiano was selected as a referee for the 2007 U-20 World Cup in Canada and was the only Spanish referee selected for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. He refereed the 2019 UEFA Nations League final between Portugal and the Netherlands, which was his final match to officiate as a professional referee, retiring thereafter.
