Kelly Zak is a film industry professional located in Los Angeles, CA. She has a variety of experience with an emphasis on coordinating; and strives to take on more creative and directing roles.
Kelly is a college graduate with a Film Production B.F.A. from the University of Central Florida. She moved to LA and has worked on a range of production types (films, tv, commercials, music videos, web series, and shorts) in a multitude of roles on both the creative and business side. She was a mentee for the Women In Film's "Transiting to Creative" group in 2020.
Kelly has been involved in pre-production, principal photography, post-production, and awards campaigning stages of various projects. Most of her roles on large scale productions has been Department Coordinating for the Stunts and Special Effects departments.
Kelly earned her first honors with the makeup department on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 where the film resulted in a 706 Guild nomination (5 films of 2017), and making the short list for the Oscars (7 films of 2017). She also received honors from the Screen Actors Guild Awards for her part in the Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series in 2021 for her work in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
