Welder Santos was born in Brasilia, Brazil and was raised in South Florida. He studied theater at Palm Beach State College and graduated with an Associates degree in Arts. He also studied at the Acting School of South Florida and took Improv at The Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre. Not only a trained actor ,but he also excelled in sports and played both basketball and soccer in high school. Welder began his acting career his freshman year in college and by the time he graduated he had already booked over 30 commercial and print campaigns for companies such as ESPN, KFC, Nikon, and Pizza Hut. His Film debut was in "Baywatch" the movie in a scene alongside Dwayne Johnson aka the Rock and Zac Efron. Months later he became a Recurring Guest Star in the Nikelodeon series "I Am Frankie" and he also made an appearance in the series "Talkin Money" which won an EMMY award in Financial Literacy.
Upon Graduation Welder relocated to Atlanta, GA and furthered his training at Get Scene Studios. There he Studied Meisner under Tony Demil and took workshops with some notable casting directors and casting associates. During his time in Atlanta he extensively trained multiple times a week and is where he began to develop his talents as an artist. He also became friends with Veteran Actor "Lucius Baston" who took him under his wing and taught him auditioning techniques. Lucius also aided him in finding representation in that market. After booking a couple Co-star roles near the Atlanta area he decided that it was time to move onto the next level.
Welder then relocated to Los Angeles and joined SAG-AFTRA. He immediately enrolled back into classes and started training at John Kirbys Acting Studio in Hollywood. At John Kirbys studio he was performing one act plays every week in class. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles he also began booking commercial campaigns again. Straightaway he booked a Nike commercial alongside Legendary soccer star "Kylian Mbappé" and a Chevy Campaign directed by Rupert Sanders. His first film role in Los Angeles didn't come until a couple years later in a supporting role in the independent film "On Our Way". Welder currently resides in Hollywood, California and is actively still learning and progressing in his career. He is also represented in São Paulo, Brazil and hopes to bring impactful roles to life in both English and in his native language Portuguese.
