Shandi Leadbetter

Born in Victoria, BC, Shandi attended a variety of dance schools before being selected as a character dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company's annual Nutcracker production for 8 years in a row. Accepted to the The National Ballet of Canada's summer school, she excelled as a character performer, showing emotion and grace on stage. In her later teens her focus switched to other forms of dance, as she found herself a founding member of a new dance studio.
Once out of high school her focus was on the future, and a bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Victoria was followed by a Masters Degree. Jobs in a few of Victoria's top art galleries led to an introduction to the film industry, where she now works.
