Born in Zacatecas, a miner's town in Mexico, from a family scientists
and doctors, young Claudia studied Spanish Literature in her hometown,
at 24 she moved to Mexico City to study screen writing at Mexican top
school CCC (Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica). She won the ESPN
contest "Por Amor a la Camiseta" with the script Motivación in 2008, a
series of short movies for students all over Latin America for the 2008
Beijing Olympic Games; in addition, she was A.D. for the short "El
Gringo", other winner in the same category for Mexico. In that very
year she was selected by Imcine for development of script with her
feature story "Colarota". In 2012 she presented her first documentary
for television with cultural network Canal Once, "Aranzazú: Un Recuerdo
de Ruinas". She mainly works for production companies as a freelance
and for CCC short movies.
