Julia Harris grew up in Placitas, New Mexico, an actor, musician, ager/dyer, commercial and print stylist, and theatre & indie film costume designer, and costumer. She graduated from the University of New Mexico, with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre in 2011, and earned Departmental Honors with her one-woman show "Marie Antoinette in Her Toilette Eating Cake", which she costume designed, produced, and performed at The Filling Station's 2011 Theatre Solofest, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Robin Lavin Lane.
Favorite projects of hers include designing Little Shop of Horrors at the historic Albuquerque Little Theatre, and designing the beautifully moving "Fog of War", written and directed by Steve Lundgren of Bezerqer Films, for which she was nominated for Best Costume Design at Utah's FilmQuest Film Festival in SLC.
Represented by Mitchell & Associates Talent Agency, a SAG-AFTRA member, Local 480 Union member, a member of New Mexico Women in Film, and a member of the Local 480 Political Engagement Committee, Julia is a proud local filmmaker and artist.
Julia Harris is a talented and hard working ager/dyer, particularly with blood work. She was also proud to become a SAG-AFTRA member for her work on "Better Call Saul", traveled to Beijing, China as an actor and musician in 2010 for the Asia Theatre Education Centre (ATEC) Theatre Festival, was in a DWI commercial that played regionally during the Superbowl, and is an award-winning baker for fun.
