Jason Velo is an American actor best known for his athleticism and dramatic presence on screen. Jason was born Jason Anthony Nieblas in Santa Ana California, to Lilly (Morales) and Danny Nieblas. A child of divorce with 4 older siblings, Jason endured a difficult yet well experienced childhood. Upon graduating from Santiago High School, he quickly joined the workforce supporting himself while in pursuit of a career in Mixed Martial Arts. It wasn't until late 2010 that Jason discovered his talent as an actor, when he took his first camera class at Cypress College.
Engulfed in his new career choice, Jason quickly left College for Los Angeles. Where he spent the next six years studying various acting methods with a foundation in the Meisner approach under Wolfgang Bodison at Playhouse West School and Repertory in North Hollywood.
Presently Jason works as an actor, filmmaker, and on set dresser for various studio and independent projects. He recently formed his own production company: Below The Line Entertainment, where he creates artistic videos for businesses, productions, and events. Most notably his directorial debut feature film PUG. Scheduled for release early 2023.
