Michelle Fuksa(I)
- Camera and Electrical Department
- Art Director
- Script and Continuity Department
Michelle Fuksa is a dedicated, resourceful and imaginative recent
college graduate with an innate love for films and camera work. She
started her life in Denver, Colorado but was destined for a life in
Hollywood. She decided she was going to be a cinematographer at the
ripe age of fifteen, inspired by a high school television production
class.
At eighteen, Michelle moved to Long Beach to attend the University of California, Long Beach and begin the arduous task of chasing her dream. In four short years of college, two of which were spent almost entirely working on student sets as one of the best and brightest camera assistants, she graduated with a Film & Electronic Arts major (and Creative Writing minor) with honors from both the university (cum laude) and the film department. This was only possible through plenty of independent study as well as working alongside her camera crew, "The Dream Team," to produce the best style possible.
Immediately after graduation, Michelle began interning at a camera rental house, Digital Film Studios. Two months later, she was hired into the camera shipping and receiving department. After only one month in the position, working night and day to learn the ins and outs of the job, she was promoted to Shipping and Receiving Manager. Luckily, Michelle was allowed time off of work to take jobs on set. In the few months she has been out of school, she has accumulated a number of credits on feature films, short films, television pilots, music videos and commercials.
After being a part of "The Dream Team" camera crew in college and now professionally part of "The Smooth Crew," Michelle has solidified her dream of working with cameras in the formidable industry of Hollywood and is excited to see what opportunities lie ahead.
