Mary is a versatile Actor, Singer, and Songwriter known for her dynamic presence across Theatre, Film, and Television. Born and raised in a small town in central Montana, she discovered her passion for performing at an early age, beginning her journey in local theater before expanding into professional work in Regional Theatre, Commercials, Film, and Television.
After high school, she moved to Seattle, WA, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University (Tacoma, WA) and an Associate of Arts in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting from Seattle College. Her unique background in Psychology and ASL interpreting adds depth to her performances, enabling her to connect with diverse audiences and bring authenticity to her characters.
In 2019, she took the leap and moved to New York City, dedicating herself to her performance career.
Mary has extensive acting training, including coursework in improvisation, on-camera acting, commercial acting, and The Spiritual Psychology of Acting with John Osborne Hughes, among other techniques. She remains dedicated to deepening her craft, continually engaging in new studies and courses.
Described as a mix of Elizabeth Banks and Jewel, Mary brings a unique blend of humor and warmth to her performances. Off-screen, friends and family call her "whiskey in a teacup." She enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, playing guitar, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
