Mexican cinematographer and color grader.
Director of photography for almost 19 years.
Worked in the Mexican audiovisual and film industry with the production company 6PM Films among other production companies as a photographer, color corrector, camera assistant, editor, and anything related to film and commercial industry.
Founder of Ochotrece Studio, an independent production and post production house along with another business partner. Aside from working in the film industry, He has also been dedicated to publishing photographs along with some other personal projects.
Graduated with a Master's in cinematography at UCLA MFA. With the opportunity to photograph projects around the USA, India, and Sweden. Up to this date, he resides in Sweden where he's looking for more projects and collaborations.
Some of his most outstanding projects have been in the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival and Morelia Film Festival. In 2016, I photograph the documentary "Within time" and was awarded best film at the Eco Film Festival in Mexico City. Another documentary, Águilas(Eagles), received a Jury Award for Documentary Shorts at SXSW 2020, was also selected to be part of the New Yorker Magazine among several many other awards. His most recent project as a colorist "Calendar Girls", got into the official selection of the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.
