Andrew Garcia is a director and cinematographer from Miami, Florida. His work mostly touches on issues of racial inequality, politics and family. Coming from a multicultural background, he aims to create work based on his personal experiences and the community around him. While he has mostly worked on music videos and short films, his aim is to work on feature films that address issues of environmental crises and societal constructs.
His latest work, "La Piel De Ayer", was acquired and released by HBO in May 2019. It received Best Director and Best Actor at the Miami Film Festival in 2019.
