Paulina Simkin is an award-winning pianist and actress based in Los Angeles. Trilingual in German, Russian, English and fluent in a variety of accents Paulina brings a fresh, culturally diverse perspective to her performances. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Juilliard School and is a Fulbright Fellow. As a Juilliard-trained pianist she toured some of the biggest stages of the world including Carnegie Hall, the Berliner Philharmonie, and Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
As an actress Paulina trained at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute studying under the legendary Irma Sandrey and Geoffrey Horne. Other important influences include Paul Calderon, Robert Ellerman and Vincent D'Onofrio. After completing her conservatory program at Strasberg she sharpened her comedic chops at UCB, where she fell in love with improv and stand-up resulting in her performing all over LA.
Paulina has starred in, scored and produced numerous films and TV shows. She has a knack for blending humor with drama, creating performances that are both moving and entertaining.
In 2017 she has co-founded the production company Rebel3Fims and has produced and acted in the new TV show The Pointe (2019).
In 2019 Paulina and her co-producer Clarissa Hoffmann created the TV show Sexbomb & Superwoman (2019), which they co-wrote and starred in.
Currently she is wrapping up a feature film parody of Romeo and Juliet titled "Balthazar and Friar John", where she portrays Juliet's eccentric Nurse, set to premiere in 2025.
