David started out in the industry by making his own grip equipment for his personal film projects, which soon lead onto making custom-built equipment for a number of big productions shooting in Europe. Up until 2015, he was mostly working in commercials as a dolly grip then slowly moved into film and television. David then went into establishing a company called GRIP UNITED which alongside servicing productions as a successful Key Grip, he and his company also specialise in designing and custom building grip equipment for other grip crews.
