Marli Wren is a talented composer and multi-instrumentalist for the film, television and gaming industry and is part of BAFTA Crew 2020-21. For a number of years Marli has worked closely with Ilan Eshkeri and Steve McLaughlin, contributing to arrangements, playing multiple instruments and mixing on a range of titles.
Marli's most recent commission is scoring BBC New Creatives latest Virtual Reality Project "Dichotomy", an inside perspective into living with different forms of OCD portrayed using Oculus' VR, due to be release early 2021. Marli is also working with BAFTA Winner James DeFrond, and has recently composed the score for Amazon Audible's non-TX Pilot "The Invasion Of Todmorden".
Marli is an accomplished pianist and bass guitarist, who regularly performs with a variety of talented musicians. He recently toured across Europe with MOBO nominee Julia Biel, highlighted by supporting Bob Dylan. He played throughout the UK with Parliamentary Jazz Instrumentalist of the year Arun Ghosh, and in addition, Marli played Moog Synthesiser for "Space Station Earth", a collaboration between Ilan Eshkeri, Tim Peake and the European Space Agency.
