Born in Quito, Ecuador in 1992, Rhonny Tufino's creative spark shone brightly from an early age. His talents spanned a range of creative mediums, from stunning illustrations to natural musical abilities, and he was recognized early on for his talents including four Regional Gold Keys and a National Gold Medal at the "Scholastics Art & Writing Awards" in 2010.
Rhonny's remarkable creative talents did not go unnoticed, and he was awarded the prestigious "Silas H. Rhodes Merit Scholarship" for his paintings and video work. Rhonny made the move to New York City to attend SVA - The School of Visual Arts. Under the guidance of legendary director Bob Giraldi, Rhonny was able to write and produce his first short film, Oh, Brother which premiered at the "Eight Hour" Film Festival in the Beatrice Theatre, New York City in 2014.
Tufino graduated from SVA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Fine Arts in May of 2014 and wasted no time in founding his own production house, Rhonny Tufino LLC, and its esteemed creative arm Tufino Studios. He has since collaborated with visionary artists and companies from all over the world, helping them to improve their image and take their brands to the next level - from elegant logo design to big-scale film productions.
Rhonny's creativity knows no bounds, his photo work has been featured on the cover of Harper's Bazaar - Vietnam, as well as several other top magazine publications. Additionally, Rhonny's outstanding design work and photography have been featured in several Billboard Chart Plaques.
Tufino is an accomplished filmmaker currently engaged in the development of numerous short and feature films. He has garnered critical acclaim for his work, including several local and international nominations and awards for cinematography on Lone Rider, directed by Robert J. Morgalo. Recently, Rhonny's short film and music video productions were showcased twice in the iconic Times Square, NYC, highlighting his continued pursuit of creative opportunities.
