Armond Edward Dorsey was born to Edward Dorsey and Joyce Carolyn Dyer
on December 21st, 1974 at Vesper Memorial in San Leandro California.
Armond grew up in Oakland and was raised by his mother Joyce
CarolynDyer. After graduating from Oakland Technical High School, he
attended the University of California at Santa Cruz where he continued
his passion for the arts while pursuing a degree in Psychobiology.
Armond left school in his Junior Year to re-pursue his passion of theatre and debuted with the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre in San Francisco in their production of Servant of The People in 1995 as "Bunchy Carter".
Armond continued acting in theaters throughout Northern California specializing and touring in Children's and Educational Theatre. Some of his notable performances includes Actor's Theatre of Santa Rosa's production of Tony Kushner's Angels in America I & II "Belize" (2001), Contra Costa Music Theatre's production of The Full Monty "Horse" (2005), and Spear Ensemble Theatre production of Titus Andronicus as "Titus & Aaron the Moor" (2009).
After a ten year successful career at Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre of Northern California as a Production Manager, Community Health Liaison, Actor, Director, Editor, and Writer he decided to dedicate his full time to his first love of the stage launching in a production of Bark!- The Musical at Sacramento Theatre Company in 2013 as "King".
