A graduate of Pakistan's prestigious Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture, Khurram's creative vision focuses on making stories that blend cultures with universal appeal challenging traditional norms, striking a chord with audiences worldwide. Drawing inspiration from American, Chinese, and Japanese cinema, His narrative style is reminiscent of the remarkable works of Ridley Scott, Zhang Yimou, and Hayao Miyazaki.
Khurram's directorial debut, Bilal: A New Breed of Hero, is the first animated feature film from the Middle East to achieve international acclaim. His journey, however, has not been without challenges. These experiences have deepened his resolve to use storytelling as a powerful platform for advocacy, bridging divides and championing the voices of the underdogs.
With expertise in both creative and technical production, Khurram remains committed to exploring emerging technologies and genres to further his impact as a storyteller.
"For me, it's a way to rise above barriers and entertain. Each project I look at is driven by an unshakable belief in empathy and the power of stories that bridge divides - Stories that touch everybody.
In a world that often fails to value perspectives, I want my work to serve as a reminder that we must always find the courage to create. Against all odds."
