Cherif Gacis

Cherif Gacis was born in San Diego, California. When he was a year old his family moved to Mexico City where he learned Spanish, attended the prestigious American School Foundation, and lived in the capital city until his family relocated back to the United States in San Antonio, Texas at age 11. He studied theater while at James Madison High School and learned French as a third language with honors all four years of high school (and a further three in college).
He followed up with beginning acting and theater courses his first two years at the University of the Incarnate Word, a renown private university in San Antonio with a world class theatre department. He continued with more fine arts courses at Texas State University while pursuing an Olympic athlete career in Track and Field. He began his acting career with NBC's Friday Night Lights in Austin while studying for a Masters in Business Administration, and has gradually worked on further projects with NBC, ABC, CBS, HBO, Warner Brothers Studios, AMC, National Geographic, Paramount+ and Netflix.
