Jasmine Blackborow

Jasmine Blackborow was born in Hackney and grew up in North London. She went to Enfield County School and The Latymer School in Edmonton before receiving a first class degree in English Literature and Drama from the University of East Anglia. She then trained as a classical actress at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She began her career in theatre, playing lead roles in well-known venues across the UK and with the Pop-Up Globe in Australia and New Zealand. She made her screen debut in the BAFTA nominated Aamir (2017) directed by Vika Evdokimenko. Jasmine is an experienced voice-over artist of audio books and video games, and before acting was recognised as a rising talent in filmmaking, being awarded the BBC Blast/BAFTA Bursary for directing in 2009.
