Judith Neumann

Judith Neumann was born in Odenwald, Germany. She studied at the Bavarian Theater Academy in Munich in 2015 and continued at the Susan Batson Studio in New York until 2018. Judith is known for her acting in the German TV series "Tatort" (1970) and the multiple award winning series "Babylon Berlin" (2017), "I've never been to New York" (2019) as well as
the film "Haut" (2018). With "Haut" she received international attention at the largest international short film festival in Clermont-Ferrand, France. There the film was nominated for the "Best Short Film" in the short film competition.
In 2022, Judith acquired the leading role in the German fairy tale feature film "The sold Princess" and in the spring of 2023, she will appear in the comedic film for television "Miss Merkel". In the beginning of 2023 she obtained a part in the successful German TV series Charité season 4, which is being shot in Portugal.
Judith has worked with Esther Bialas, Nancy Camaldo, Achim von Borries, Philipp Stölzl, Teresa Hoerl, Thomas Roth, Alex Eslam, Michael Krummenacher, Christoph Schnee, Robert del Maestro etc.
Judith speaks English, French and Portuguese fluently, in addition to her mother tongue, German. She is also gifted in soprano singing, horseback riding, volleyball, basic piano, ballet, hip hop, samba, jazz and modern dance.
Her interests lie in dramatic and comedic roles and is particularly attracted to productions coming from France, UK and the US. Although she lives in Berlin, she also works across Europe, such as Paris, London and Lisbon.
