Evan Vincent Washington was born in Inglewood, California. He grew up in View Park and attended Westchester High school. Evan received professional training in Los Angeles at Amazing Grace Conservatory of Acting, and went on to study Film and Television Arts at CSU Northridge. Evan has worked in the entertainment industry, in production, as a Tour manager for Mann and Shawn Chrystopher, and as a performer himself in rap-duo BEeFF with Bertran Cooper. As a business partner along with Kush Fernando of Brownies & Lemonade, a premier event promotional outlet, they are known for local iconic Camp Trill and Double Cross parties and rapidly becoming a party phenomenon at top music festivals nationally and internationally. Evan has curated and hosted hip hop stage productions, and booked acts and DJs at BrokeLA (formerly Brokechella) as an integral part of a marketing team part that brought out over 6,000 festival goers growing from 250 in the last 8 years.
Washington's latest project, For Evan's Sake, is a keenly insightful comedy autobiopic which parodies experiences and observations on working in the entertainment industry. For Evan's Sake, was created by Evan V. Washington and Ryan James Hull, childhood friends who have been working in the entertainment industry since they met. Together with a creative writing ensemble and director of For Evan's Sake, Kirstin Lorin, they cast and produced their first film project for Smart Not Hard Productions. With the help of Paul Stewart (Hustle & Flow, Insecure, Poetic Justice) they teamed up to bring the world the pilot episode of the new 2018 comedy "For Evan's Sake" starring Evan Vincent Washington as Evan Jefferson, an underachieving, overworked Production Assistant who struggles to maintain his sanity while dealing with his racially insensitive coworkers, inappropriate family members, "Woke" roommates, an inter-dimensional traveling homeless man, a wise satyr, and his own worst enemy, himself.
