Stephanie Mickus
- Writer
Stephanie Mickus is a screenwriter whose scripted portfolio plays around with the
themes of substance abuse, sobriety, death, gender roles, losing one's religion, and
chronic/terminal health issues.. She braved stand-up for awhile, ran the social media
department at a TV network, spent one day being a talk show host, and jumped on the
podcast bandwagon with her show, Too Soon, where she interviewed comics and
writers about the worst thing that ever happened to them and how they incorporated it
into their art. Her first semi-autobiographical feature film, Hope Springs Eternal, was released
in limited theaters in August of 2018 and is now just chilling on Netflix.
She wrote on season 5 of Showtime's Billions and aspires to adopt several dogs.
