Cindy's performance career began at age 8 demonstrating Hula Hoops outside her father's St. Louis JJ Newberry Dime store. Double promoted due to her higher IQ, she graduated high school two years early, married at 18, a mom at 20, and divorced, single mom at 25 without support. Alone, providing for herself and her young son, she attended college classes after work. A quick study, she secured a position as a credit investigator for a Fortune 500 corporation. Her professional networking skills helped her land a position as Marketing Director for the largest 1.2m GLA Super-Regional Mall in the Southwest. Her skill for marketing, advertising, public relations, and promotions got her national recognition with the ICSC for a creative 35' tall Pinata inaugurating the expanded mall Grand Reopening. She was known for producing the annual Burro Derby that invited local DJs and Politicians to compete promoting Tucson's Rodeo month. Her natural sales ability lead her to corporate sales for a Fortune 100 high tech corporation. After remarrying and relocating, Cindy became a successful executive in the technology industry. But the day came that the shock of the death of her childhood best friend caused her to rethink her life. She left her executive career and attended seminary where she was ordained by the Unity School of Christianity. Shortly thereafter, she founded the New Thought Community Church, and later, co-founded the United Devine Science Seminary. After successfully building a church from scratch and mentoring her associate minister, Cindy was recruited to become the Senior Minister of the large Unity Church in the area. During her tenure as Senior Minister, she earned her Bachelor of Theological Studies and Master of Religious Education degrees. Some of her professional affiliations include President of the INTA, a one hundred year old organization. Also, Board member for the Knox Foundation, an outpatient addiction facility for primarily the African American community. A popular international speaker and lecturer, she has co-authored The Complete Works of H. Emelie Cady, contemporary English Version, co-hosted the Spirituality Today, Just a Thought, and Christians and Cocktails podcasts. She still serves as a teaching associate at Sunshine Cathedral, one of the world's largest LGBTQ+ ministries. Speaking, teaching and motivating audiences from the hundreds to the thousands ultimately led Cindy to a career in the entertainment business where, with her usual drive and dedication, devoured all the professional training she could find while working to gain experience doing commercials, short films, and lower budget independent features. Since earning her SAG-AFTRA membership, she has been highly praised for her work in both television and movies where her diverse background and life experience combine to help her create rich and truthful characters. Her personal character and kindness make her a welcome addition to any set.
