Nick van Dyk is Co-President of Activision Blizzard Studios, which creates television, film and short-form content based on Activision Blizzard's library of iconic and globally-recognized intellectual properties, including Call of Duty, Candy Crush, Overwatch, World of Warcraft and hundreds more. Before joining Activision Blizzard in 2015, Nick spent nine years at The Walt Disney Company where, as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, he helped drive Disney's focus on franchise intellectual property and played a significant role in the acquisitions of Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm. Prior to that, he was part of C-level management of Artisan Entertainment, the largest independent motion picture studio of its time. Earlier, he worked at Disney in its Strategic Planning department and began his career as a management consultant with the LEK Partnership. Nick holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Jill, who he married in 1993, and his two children.
