Austin worked as a Visual Effects Coordinator for Luma Pictures in 2015 and early 2016. He joined during the end of The Last Witch Hunter and then contributed to a commercial project before switching back to feature films. Austin worked with the team coordinating 2D visual effects and tracking/match move for The Last Witch Hunter, Deadpool, and Captain America: Civil War. Austin's last project at Luma Pictures was for Allegiant, on which he acted as lead coordinator for the project under the DPM.
