Et tu, Omarosa? On Thursday's episode of E!'s House of Villains, Bachelor Nation alum Corinne Olympios learned the hard way that there's no such thing as a true ally among this group of reality TV baddies.

It's a lesson Corinne should have internalized last week, when Omarosa Manigualt Newman put her and Tanisha Thomas (of Bad Girls Club fame) up for elimination after professing her loyalty to them. Both women were shocked by the turn of events, and Corinne left The Stronghold kicking herself for trusting Omarosa, the reigning supervillain of the week, in the first place.

The first “House of Villains” castmember was sent packing Thursday night in a dramatic banishment ceremony.

“Vanderpump Rules” bad boy Jax Taylor and “The Bachelor” Corinne Olympios were the first two villains nominated for banishment by Omarosa, the winner of the first challenge.

Taylor and Olympios were strapped tightly to chairs as host Joel McHale revealed their fate.

The series premiere of “House of Villains,” which aired on E! on Oct. 12, reached an audience of 1.2 million viewers over a course of seven days of multiplatform viewing. This statistic accounts for viewing across E!, Bravo, Syfy, USA, VOD, Tve, NBCU cable apps and YouTube. 500,000 of those viewers fell into the key adults 18-49 demographic.

That makes the episode E!’s most watched series premiere, according to Live + 7 data, since 2020, when “The Bradshaw Brunch” brought in 2 million viewers across all platforms in one week.

The 203% leap of “House of Villains” from 572,000 viewers in Live + Same Day viewership to 1.2 million after seven days marks the largest L+7 lift for any E! series this season.

And the audience for “House of Villains” is continuing to grow. Live + 3 data shows that Episode 2 saw a 58% increase in total viewers and a 77% increase among adults 18-49 when compared to Episode 1, accounting solely for airings on E!

“It’s changed in a way that I think that a lot of people get on TV, and they try to put on airs, or they try to be a character, or they try so hard to be entertaining,” Omarosa replied when asked what’s changed about reality TV. “Whereas I think when we started, we were just truly just out there having fun and being ourselves. And we didn’t have to manufacture drama. So now you just see all this manufactured drama.”

House of Villains, E!’s new series featuring reality TV baddies such as Vanderpump Rules’ Jax Taylor and The Apprentice’s Omarosa, is looking to “lean into the comedy” of the genre, according to its exec producer.

John Irwin, who runs Irwin Entertainment and has produced celebrity house shows such as Celebrity Rehab and Sober House, told Deadline, “From the beginning, our strategy was to lean into the comedy of this concept and for the show to parody itself and the genre.”

Irwin explained that the show, which pits the reality villains against each other via a series of challenges in order to win $200,000, was initially developed by the NBCUniversal-owned cable network.

Former The Bachelorette contestant DeMario Jackson is being sued by two women for sexual battery, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

They have chosen to remain anonymous for now and have accused DeMario of sexually assaulting them.

Jane Doe 1 is 25-year-old and said she met DeMario on a dating app.

Whereas Jane Doe 2 is 28-year-old; she first met DeMario on social media.

People obtained court documents filed last Tuesday in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles; the two women are Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2.

The women’s stories are similar and expose an alleged pattern of behavior from the former reality star.
